THE 2016 FEBRUARY EMPLOYMENT SITUATION REPORT FOR JANUARY 2016 SHOWS A RISE IN THE TRUE JOBLESS RATE.

Today, Reuters published U.S. Job Growth Slows, Unemployment Rate At Eight-Year Low by one of their hired propagandists, Lucia Mutikani. Mutikani claimed this:
U.S. employment gains slowed more than expected in January as the boost to hiring from unseasonably mild weather faded, but surging wages and an unemployment rate at an eight-year low suggested the labor market recovery remains firm.
Over ninety-seven percent of the time, in January, employment falls in the USA. No one should have expected a slowing on hiring.

And for the two-month period of December through January, employment falls slightly over ninety percent of the time. So anyone who claims there hasn't been a rise in the unemployed over the last two months has been lying to you.

And in spite of the propaganda pushed by the Department of Labor, the jobless rate, which is the true unemployment rate, rose 23.9% from the previous month. The current jobless rate stands at 6.32% up from 5.81%.

As I explained in THE JOBLESS RATE, THE TRUE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, the BLS reported unemployment rate is the measure of competition for jobs firms make available. In truth, the unemployment rate is the jobs competition rate.

What counts is the ratio of the Straightaway Working Potential to True Free Americans, or what I call the Jobless Rate. The Straightaway Working Potential, which is the sum of the unemployed and those not in the labor force who want a job now. The figure of those who want a job now comes from the BLS.

The count of True Free Americans is taken from the count of civilian non-institutional population, 16 and older, less those those not in the labor force owing to disability, 16 and older. In spite of the potential of some disabled persons to work, they can't do so without changing their legal status.
