While browsing through my feed reader, the fantastic Feedbro extension for Vivaldi, I came across this silly-minded gem in a work published on Zero Hedge about Canada:
Far too many mindless parrot the phrase "single-payer." The phrase single-payer is deceptive rhetoric. Rightly, Canadians have government-rationed, bureaucratic-allocated medicine.
In 2014, there were 18.4 million payers who funded Canadian medicine for themselves and the other 17.14 million Canadians who did not pay one Canadian dime to buy free-to-them medicine. Those 18.4 million Canadians were the tax filers who paid all the federal and provincial income taxes in 2014.
How can anyone rightly claim Canadians have one payer when in fact 18.4 million paid for medicine?
The rest of the article by Carley as published by Zero Hedge deals with the Canadian history of Nazi sympathizers and the latest support of the Canadian government for Ukraine.
