Trump is a builder of big, expensive things. Trump is a visionary. Trump plays the long game. Trump is trying to change the culture — the codified laws and codes of conduct — of 220 million adults in the greatest turnaround attempt in the history of mankind. It is a given that establishment media would attack Trump. Trump is an outsider who is taking a wrecking ball to the establishment and the edifice they built over the last 28 years, an edifice erected on Bush Sr's kinder, gentler, New World Order. By taking out the leading lights of the establishment media, Trump is destroying the establishment media's power to conjure and shape public opinion. The one who controls public opinion is the one who holds the power to define the next culture.
Americans have let themselves become despotically-governed over the last 28 years. Americans have been obeying a power they have failed to see is of their own making. Americans have become superstitious with their habit of submission to the establishment. Americans have fallen under the spell of the agitprop of Hollywood and the propaganda of establishment news media.
President Trump is attempting to awaken in Americans their supremacy and so to treat their rulers as their agents, consciously, forcing their rulers as agents to obey the true power — popular will. When Americans awaken to their power, public opinion controlled by Americans themselves will become the controlling force of the USA.
Make no mistake. The Establishment Media are the enemy of Americans. The have lied to Americans for decades. They lied about the need for wasteful wars, which have only increased the threat of terrorism against Americans. They have lied about the need for wage-reducing illegal aliens. They have lied about the need for managed trade deals that benefit the biggest shareholders of Fortune 500 firms at the expense of workers. They have lied about the quasi-fascist Obamacare.
