LIKE PRESIDENT TRUMP, PRESIDENT THEODORE ROOSEVELT PRESSED AMERICANS TO BE ONE NATION BACK IN 1916. WHY SHOULD CONGRESS GIVE AMNESTY TO FOREIGN NATIONALS DISLOYAL TO THE USA?

Along with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt's bust adorns Mount Rushmore.

Between July and November, 1916, former President of the United States, President Theodore Roosevelt traveled the United States and gave speeches. Those speeches were collected in a work titled Americanism and Preparedness: Speeches of Theodore Roosevelt, July to November, 1916.

Much of what President Trump has said in various speeches echoes what President Roosevelt said [see below for speech excerpts].

Right now, the 2018 Winter Olympics are being held in PyeongChang, South Korea, the free Korea. If those living in the United States who have U.S. citizenship cheer on Olympic teams from other countries because their immigrant parents or grandparents hailed from other countries, those who do are not Americans.

When millions of illegal aliens from Mexico cheer on the Mexican national soccer team over the American national team in World Cup soccer matches, those millions of illegal aliens reveal themselves to be Mexican nationals. Never could they make themselves into being Americans.

Congress should not confer amnesty and citizenship upon people never who could be loyal Americans.

Here are clips from two of those speeches by President Roosevelt.

Lewiston, Maine. August 31, 1916.
