I came across the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation and their estimates for Covid-19 deaths in the USA because Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, relies upon it for policy recommendations to President Trump.
Their deaths per day projections seem to be wild overestimates. It is from such estimates that trillions of dollars are being lost.
